The Hydraulic Machine Vice is ideal for heavy and controlled clamping of work pieces on precision machines.Considerable force magnification is achieved, thereby reducing operators fatigue and necessity of hammering the crank handle.

The jaw movement and clamping force are achieved by single crank handle. The rotation of crank moves the jaw till some resistance is built up due to jaw touching the job and at this moment hydraulic action comes into operation. The hydraulic system consists of hydraulic cylinder built in the movable jaw and the piston loaded by Belleville spring. The hydraulic system is self contained and no external oil supply is required. The movable jaw can be set to three positions to get a clamping range of 0 - 300mm.
